Marketing Coordinator
Description

Position Summary

Baden Sports is looking for a Marketing Coordinator who takes real ownership of the work in front of them. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for someone who doesn't wait to be told what needs to be done — they see it, own it, and get it across the finish line.

You'll be responsible for the day-to-day execution of our marketing campaigns, events, partnerships, and content — managing timelines, keeping stakeholders aligned, and making sure nothing slips. You'll have direct ownership of key areas including email marketing, event coordination, and our state adoption partner program. A genuine passion for sports is a big plus. We market to coaches, athletes, and athletic organizations every day, and someone who understands that world — whether through playing, coaching, or working in sports — will hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign & Content Execution

  • Own the execution of email marketing campaigns end-to-end — building lists, scheduling sends, proofing content, and tracking performance in Klaviyo.
  • Manage the marketing content calendar, ensuring all deadlines are met and assets are delivered on time across every channel.
  • Own the routing and approval process for marketing materials — driving projects through design, review, and sign-off with a sense of urgency.
  • Ensure brand consistency across email, social, digital, and print — catching errors and flagging anything that doesn't meet our standards before it goes out.
  • Own social media scheduling and asset coordination, working with the team to keep content flowing on time.

Events, Trade Shows & Sponsorships

  • Take full ownership of event logistics from planning through execution — managing timelines, checklists, vendor coordination, supplies, and on-site needs.
  • Build and maintain event SOPs so that no detail is missed and every show runs smoother than the last.
  • Own sponsorship tracking and fulfillment — making sure every commitment to a partner or organization is delivered accurately and on time.
  • Manage the shipping and delivery of event materials, branded product, and promotional items.
  • Track event ROI and compile post-event recaps with actionable takeaways.

Partnership & State Adoption Program

  • Own Baden's state adoption program — managing orders, timelines, and communications with schools, coaches associations, and athletic organizations to ensure custom product ships on time, every time.
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for partnership and adoption inquiries, building strong relationships with the organizations we serve.
  • Maintain organized, up-to-date records of partner contacts, agreements, deliverable schedules, and activation timelines.
  • Support athlete and coach partnerships by managing communication cadences and ensuring all asset and fulfillment requests are handled promptly.

Project & Budget Coordination

  • Own the project management tool (Monday.com or similar) for the marketing team — keeping tasks, deadlines, and ownership current so nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Track marketing budgets and vendor invoices, flagging discrepancies and keeping leadership informed.
  • Prepare campaign and event recap reports with clear performance summaries.
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team — scheduling, file organization, and correspondence — as needed.
Requirements

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in a marketing, events, or coordinator role — strong internship experience considered.
  • A track record of owning tasks and delivering results without heavy supervision.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail — you build the systems that keep projects on track.
  • Strong written communication skills — able to write clearly, proofread accurately, and represent the brand professionally.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (Klaviyo a plus), project management tools (Monday.com, Asana, or similar), and Microsoft Office or Google Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and stay composed when things shift.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, Business, or a related field preferred.

Desired Attributes

  • Sports background — as a player, coach, or someone who has worked with athletic organizations, leagues, or teams. You understand the rhythms of sports seasons, tournament schedules, and team culture, and it shows in how you connect with our partners and customers.
  • A self-starter who takes initiative — you see what needs to be done and own it without being asked.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented — you know how to work well with others and step up wherever you're needed.
  • Calm and composed under pressure — you keep things moving even when the trade show is next week and three things are still outstanding.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for Baden's products and the sports communities we serve.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Performance bonus opportunities
  • Health, dental, and vision benefits
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Employee discounts on Baden products
  • Hybrid schedule: 4 days in office (Kent, WA) with 1 remote day per week.
