ABOUT THE ROLE

The Hair, Nail & Beauty Professional will deliver high-quality salon and beauty services within Turquoise Waters Spa. The successful candidate should be multi-skilled across hair styling, manicures, pedicures and selected beauty services, with the flexibility to serve hotel guests, weddings, events, villas and special occasions.

This is a guest-facing, revenue-producing position requiring strong technical ability, luxury-service awareness, discretion and exceptional hygiene and sanitation standards.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Guest Services & Technical Delivery

• Deliver professional hair, nail and approved beauty services in accordance with the final treatment menu
• Conduct thorough guest consultations and recommend appropriate services, products and homecare routines
• Provide hairstyling, blowouts and occasion or bridal styling
• Deliver manicures, pedicures and approved nail enhancements
• Support selected beauty services according to verified qualifications and approved protocols

Service Standards & Guest Experience

• Prepare and reset the salon between appointments, flagging any equipment, product or presentation issues to the Senior Spa Manager before they affect the guest experience. Follow all health, safety, contraindication, waiver and incident-reporting procedures
• Maintain accurate guest records and service notes where required
• Recommend appropriate retail and home-care products without creating pressured sales experience
• Support wedding, group, villa and special event services
• Manage appointment flow and transitions professionally, honoring scheduled timing without compromising service quality
• Handle guest feedback and preferences with discretion, escalating concerns to the Senior Spa Manager as appropriate
• Anticipate and respond to individual guest needs, adapting communication style and service delivery accordingly

Operations

• Participate in training, simulations, product education and service certification
• Maintain professional workstations and equipment in accordance with applicable health, safety and sanitation standards
• Assist with inventory counts, product controls and supply requisitions
• Support other appropriate spa operating duties during lower-demand periods when trained and authorized

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Recognized professional qualifications in cosmetology, hairdressing, nail technology or beauty therapy
• Minimum three years of professional salon, spa or luxury-hospitality experience
• Experience with professional nail product systems including gel, shellac and/or long-wear formulations preferred
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines, preferably hair, nails and beauty
• Bridal, wedding and special-event styling experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of hygiene, sanitation and infection-control procedures
• Experience serving luxury or international guests preferred
• Strong consultation, communication and retail-recommendation skills; ability to build rapport with an international, high-expectation guest base
• Professional portfolio and references required
• Successful completion of a practical technical assessment

• This position is based in the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. Bahamian nationals and permanent residents are encouraged to apply. Non-Bahamian applicants must be eligible to obtain a Bahamian Work Permit; employer sponsorship will be considered for qualified candidates where the role cannot be filled by a qualified Bahamian national, in accordance with Bahamian immigration law.
• This role requires full-time, on-site presence at the resort. 
• Scheduling will reflect the operational needs of a luxury hospitality environment, including weekends, holidays, and peak seasons. 
• This role is performed in an indoor spa environment with exposure to chemical products, fragrances, and equipment typical of salon and beauty services. The role operates in a guest-facing, service-intensive setting within a resort that operates year-round. 
• This position requires a physical presence throughout the spa facility, including the ability to stand for extended periods of time and may involve occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
