Description
Responsible for assisting in the daily administrative flow of the HR department, supporting both internal and external requests. The Human Resources Assistant must display conflict management and critical thinking skills and assist with employee relations, recruitment, payroll and benefits and other HR related tasks. Must be able to think conceptually and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Associates/Bachelors Degree in HR or related field, preferred.
- 2 years of experience as an Administrative or HR Assistant.
- SHRM Certification within 2 years of start date.
- Excellent communication skills to include oral comprehension, oral expression, written comprehension, and written expression
- Computer/PC experience required.
- Outstanding public relations/customer service experience
- High level of personal presentation
- Ability to maintain accuracy with interruptions
- Ability to use sound judgment and cope with potentially stressful situations
