As our Activities Leader, you’ll lead a passionate team dedicated to enriching the lives of our residents through innovative and meaningful programs. This is more than a job—it’s an opportunity to inspire, create, and make every day extraordinary!
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and support Activities Coordinators and manage team schedules.
- Oversee resident activity programs that promote engagement and well-being.
- Monitor participation, maintain documentation, and support quality initiatives.
- Collaborate with resident care teams to enhance the resident experience.
- Support new residents and families during move-in and transition processes.
- Represent the Activities department in interdisciplinary meetings.
- Oversee activity planning, event logistics, and program communication.
- Serve as backup support for rehabilitation activities and assessments as needed.
Requirements
What Makes You the Perfect Fit?
- High School diploma with advance studies in geriatrics or related field preferred or equivalent education and experience sufficient to complete primary job functions
- Activity Director Certification preferred
- Proven experience within a leadership role
- Minimum 5 years of experience in planning and implementing of elderly activities.
