Pay Range: Salary and commission structure based on experience level; $65,000-$120,000 exempt + commission


Ryan Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Senior-Level Account Executive to drive commercial IT sales and help grow RYAN’s commercial client base. The role is responsible for developing and managing a pipeline of qualified prospects, executing outbound sales efforts, building relationships with key decision-makers, and managing the full sales cycle from initial outreach through negotiation and closing. The ideal candidate will possess 3–10 years of B2B sales experience, preferably within IT services, cybersecurity, or technology solutions, a demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets, and strong prospecting and relationship-building experience.  


Key responsibilities include:

 

Pipeline development

  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads targeting commercial IT buyers
  • Execute proactive prospecting campaigns including cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn engagement
  • Conduct market research to identify target accounts and decision-makers within the commercial IT space
  • Qualify inbound leads and convert them into productive sales opportunities


Relationship Building

  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders including all C-Level roles, IT Directors, Procurement   Managers, and Operations Leaders
  • Represent the company professionally at industry events, conferences, and networking functions
  • Establish trust and credibility with prospective clients through consultative selling approaches
  • Understand buyer pain points with a strong focus on establishing (real) ROI for the customer


Sales Strategy & Planning

  • Develop comprehensive sales plans aligned with revenue targets and organizational goals
  • Create and manage a sales and marketing budget for your assigned territory
  • Design go-to market strategies for staff augmentation and project-based sale
  • Set quarterly and annual activity goals (calls, meetings, proposals)


Revenue Generation

  • Own the full sales cycle from initial contact through contract negotiation and closing
  • Prepare compelling presentations, proposals, and commercial offers
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contract conditions
  • Collaborate with internal resources during the evaluation phase


Account Management

  • Partner with field operations team ensure smooth handoff post-sale
  • Identify up-sell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Monitor account health and proactively address concerns


Reporting & Forecasting

  • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce
  • Provide weekly forecasts and monthly pipeline reviews
  • Report on outcomes including win/loss analysis and competitive intelligence
Requirements

 Skills

  • 3-10 years B2B Sales Experience, preferably   in IT services, cybersecurity, or technology solutions
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales   targets
  • Experience with DoW or DoW contractors
  • Background in prospecting required

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work  experience

  • Degree or certificates in IT related work
  • Experience in staff augmentation sales
