Requirements
What You'll Do
- Program, set up, and operate CNC machining centers and turning centers
- Develop processes, select tooling, and create efficient setups
- Machine precision components to tolerances as tight as ±0.0005"
- Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and GD&T
- Perform in-process and final inspections
- Troubleshoot machining challenges and improve processes
- Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and field teams
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
What You Bring
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience
- Strong programming, setup, and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Fanuc and/or Fagor controls
- Knowledge of G & M code programming
- Experience with conversational programming and CAM software (GibbsCAM preferred)
- Strong understanding of tooling, feeds & speeds, GD&T, and precision measurement
- Ability to work independently and solve complex machining challenges
Preferred Qualifications
- Ontario General Machinist or Tool & Die Red Seal Certification
- Experience with both CNC and manual machining equipment
