Application & Enrollment Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist patients and community members with eligibility screening, applications, renewals, and documentation for various health coverage programs

- Provide confidential guidance and education regarding AHCCCS/Medicaid, Marketplace coverage, Canyonlands' Sliding Fee Discount Program, and other assistance programs

- Serve as a resource for patients to understand their options and navigate complex enrollment processes

- Collaborate closely with clinic staff, community partners, and state agencies to facilitate enrollment and reduce barriers to access

- Maintain accurate records of applications and communications, ensuring compliance with privacy and confidentiality standards

- Stay informed about updates and changes in healthcare policies and assistance programs to provide current and accurate information

Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in healthcare, social services, or related fields preferred

- Prior experience in enrollment assistance, social services, or healthcare support is advantageous

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and compassionately

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations and community partners

- Knowledge of healthcare programs such as AHCCCS/Medicaid, Marketplace, and community assistance programs

- Proficiency in using computers and relevant software for data entry and record keeping
