ASAHI BEER USA | OCTOPI BREWING
CELLAR SUPERVISOR
Where Leadership Meets the Cellar Floor
Full-Time
ABOUT ASAHI BEER USA / OCTOPI BREWING
Founded in 2014 as a Wisconsin contract brewery, Octopi Brewing has spent over a decade brewing and packaging beer, seltzers, RTDs, and sodas for clients nationwide. In 2024, Asahi — brewers of Asahi Super Dry — acquired Octopi, making us the U.S. production home of Super Dry. Today, our 250+ person team of beverage industry pros keeps that same local, quality-first spirit alive at a state-of-the-art facility. As Cellar Supervisor, you'll be the accountable leader for your shift — keeping production, communication, and your team on track, and reporting directly to the Cellar Manager.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We're looking for a Cellar Supervisor to serve as the go-to leader for their shift — making real-time production decisions, keeping communication flowing between Cellar, Batching, Brewhouse, and Packaging, and making sure the team has what they need to hit their goals.
WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE GREAT
• Real decision-making authority — you're the accountable party for your shift, not just a task manager
• A direct line to the Cellar Manager, with real influence over staffing, scheduling, and process improvement
• A high-visibility role connecting Cellar, Batching, Brewhouse, and Packaging every single shift
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Serve as the accountable leader for your shift — making production decisions and keeping scheduled work on track
• Act as the primary communicator between your shift and the Cellar Manager, Packaging, and the Brewhouse operator
• Check in regularly with your team, provide feedback, and help resolve concerns as they come up
• Recommend staffing and schedule changes based on your read of the process and workflow
• Ensure documentation, sanitation, and safety standards are completed and handed off cleanly to the next shift
• Delegate work across the shift, including the batching team and other brewing support as needed
WHAT YOU BRING
Must-haves:
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting 55 lbs / moving 165 lbs as needed
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management
• Basic troubleshooting skills in a brewing or manufacturing setting
• Flexibility to work various shifts and prioritize shifting tasks
Nice-to-haves:
• 2–3 years of experience in a brewing environment
• Degree in Brewing Science/Technology
BENEFITS & PERKS
• Medical, dental, and vision coverage — effective the 1st of the month after 30 days
• Company-paid life, short-term, and long-term disability insurance
• 401(k) eligible after 3 months, with company match — 100% up to 3%, 50% on the next 2%
• 120 hours of PTO annually, with accrual that grows the longer you're here
• 9 paid holidays (if they fall on your scheduled workday)
• A free beer after shift, because you earned it

PAY BY SHIFT
Pay starts at $28.00/hr, using the same shift differential structure as our Brewer roles. Shifts outside of 1st shift include an additional shift differential on top of that base — never a lower starting rate, just added pay for the shift.
• 1st Shift — $28.00/hr (base rate)
• 2nd Shift — $28.00/hr base + $3.00/hr shift differential = $31.00/hr
• 3rd Shift — $28.00/hr base + $4.00/hr shift differential = $32.00/hr
• Weekend Day — $28.00/hr base + $5.75/hr shift differential = $33.75/hr
• Weekend Night — $28.00/hr base + $7.75/hr shift differential = $35.75/hr
