Position Summary
The Manager of Field Enablement is responsible for leading and continuously evolving MDVIP's Field Enablement function. As part of the Success Management team, this leader will shape and execute the strategy, operating model, governance processes, tools, training, insights, and communications that enable Success Managers (SMs) to deliver a consistent, high-value experience to affiliated physicians.
The Manager serves as the bridge between SM field teams and the key broader departments including the Practice Success Operations team, SM Training, Marketing, Product, Technology, Customer Service, Medical Office and Legal & Compliance -- to ensure SMs are equipped with compelling value messaging, data-driven insights, best practices, standardized communication tools, and action-planning capabilities that improve physician satisfaction, engagement, retention, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Field Enablement Strategy and Operating Model
- Own and lead the overall SM Field Enablement strategy and roadmap.
- Establish annual enablement objectives, success measures, and improvement initiatives.
- Manage and improve current governance and end-to-end processes to effectively balance organization-wide departments’ needs for SMs to activate communications and initiatives, with SMs responsibilities and capacity.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to drive earlier planning of activities and communications for the affiliate and SM activation annual calendars.
- Present enablement performance, recommendations, and strategic opportunities to executive leadership.
- Continually identify opportunities to improve the SM Field Enablement operating model and drive solution implementation in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
Affiliate Action Planning & Performance Enablement
- Own the affiliate action planning framework and create action tracking processes that link the actions to affiliate business plans and corporate KPIs
- Partner with Training to ensure SMs are trained and socialized on the processes for planning, tracking, and executing affiliate improvement initiatives.
- Partner with MDVIP Technology team to improve current technology platforms to enable SM planning, workflows, reporting, and accountability tools.
Value Messaging & Affiliate Engagement Enablement
- Own the translation of the MDVIP value proposition into a framework that can be used by SMs.
- Ensure all physician-facing materials meet quality, consistency, branding, and messaging standards.
- Partner with Marketing and other departments to translate initiatives into field-ready materials.
- Develop and refine physician engagement tools, messaging strategies, conversation guides, and playbooks.
- Ensure SMs are equipped for high-stakes affiliate conversations including retention, growth, pricing, operational challenges, and satisfaction concerns.
- Continuously gather feedback from the field and affiliates to feed to Brand Marketing and ELT to refine value messaging for SM applications.
Physician Insights & Best Practices Program
- Establish a formal program that continuously gathers SMs insights and trends impacting physician satisfaction, member retention, engagement, and network performance.
- Develop processes to capture, package, and distribute aggregated insights and best practices from top-performing affiliates for various internal groups’ purposes.
- Create recurring insight reports, dashboards, and field intelligence communications.
Evolution of Enablement Tools, Playbooks and Capabilities
- Design and govern SM playbooks, tools, and methodologies that standardize how SMs engage affiliate providers, identify opportunities, and drive affiliate growth and retention.
- Partner with Training to develop other engaging and frictionless formats and mechanisms for SM field training and socialization.
- Continuously assess field effectiveness and capability gaps, gathering feedback from Success Managers and affiliate providers to refine playbooks, tools, communications, and enablement programs.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Practice Success Operations, Training, Data & Analytics, Product, Technology, and Medical Office, to translate complex programs, processes, and value propositions into practical field-facing guidance and resources for Success Managers.
- Align stakeholders around SM field priorities, communication plans, enablement needs, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional working groups and governance forums.
Measurement, Analytics & Continuous Improvement
- Define and monitor Field Enablement KPIs.
- Build reporting frameworks to measure adoption, effectiveness, and business outcomes.

- Training effectiveness

- Establish process and use insights and feedback to continuously improve enablement programs and tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, Communications, Organizational Development, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in field enablement, sales enablement, customer success, physician relations, account management, practice operations, healthcare operations, or related functions.
- 2+ years of experience building and leading programs, teams, or enterprise initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience designing operating models, governance structures, and business processes.
- Experience developing training & socialization programs, toolkits, playbooks, and communication strategies and programs.
- Strong cross-functional project management skills to drive implementation of cross-functional initiatives in complex organizations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
- Experience working with CRM, AI tools, reporting tools, and business performance metrics.
