Primary function of the Maintenance Technician is to complete projects and repairs in regard to routine, preventative and emergency maintenance in the hotel as directed by the Chief Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that guests receive prompt, professional treatment and courteous service in response to their maintenance needs. 
• Complete all tasks, work orders and special projects as assigned by Chief Engineer.
• Perform daily inspections to ensure property grounds and work areas are maintained to standard.
• Be aware that all safety equipment and conditions are up to code, report any concern to the Chief Engineer or General Manager.
• Follow proper lockout/tagout procedures.
• Complete all preventative maintenance projects as assigned.
• As assigned, maintain, monitor, and test the hotel’s emergency and security systems, features and procedures.
• Be aware that all tools and equipment are in working condition, and up to code; report any concerns to the Chief Engineer or General Manager. 
• Maintain the security of all equipment and tools.
• Maintain the entire facility & grounds. 
• Proficient in basic Building Services Engineering.
• Perform property walks to ensure cleanliness, functionality and security.
• Setup maintain and refresh function room as required.

Requirements:

• Two years’ maintenance experience 
• Hotel maintenance experience a plus
• Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing Diagnostics, General Knowledge / Experience Preferred.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. 
• Able to bend and stoop
• Able to climb ladders
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• English verbal and written communication skills 
• Availability holidays, weekends, and 24-hour emergencies 
• Must have scheduling flexibility and availability to work a variety of shifts. (AM Shifts, MID Shifts, and PM Shifts).
• Certified Pool Operator / Certification preferred
• OSHA 10 - 30 encouraged
