About the Role:

The Director Of Email Channel Management (Marketing) will lead the strategy and execution of revenue-generating email campaigns and automations using Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This role combines technical expertise, creative vision, and strategic leadership to drive customer engagement and business growth. The Director will manage a team of marketing professionals, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and utilize data-driven insights to optimize email performance and meet organizational goals.


The Day-to-Day:

  • Email Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive email marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Campaign Execution: Oversee the design, setup, and deployment of email campaigns and automated workflows in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of email marketing specialists, fostering professional development and ensuring high performance.
  • Collaboration: Partner with other marketing teams, including content, design and growth marketing, to align email marketing efforts with organizational goals.
  • Tool Proficiency: Leverage various email marketing tools to enhance campaign effectiveness, such as A/B testing, dynamic content, and personalization.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze email performance metrics using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, and other tools. Provide actionable insights and regular reports to stakeholders.
  • Optimization: Use data-driven insights to optimize email deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
  • Presentation Skills: Prepare and deliver presentations on email performance, strategies, and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Project Management: Manage email projects and campaigns for multiple clients simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure all email campaigns comply with legal standards (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR) and industry best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging tools, and technologies to implement innovative email marketing solutions.
  • Other Duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in a director role or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of experience in email channel management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in design, marketing or other relevant fields.
  • Proven experience in team management and motivation.
  • Experience using SalesForce Marketing Cloud.
  • Expertise in email and email platforms and software applications.
  • Effective organization and project management skills as well as interpersonal.
  • Lead team with understanding of larger company goals.
  • Ability to provide expertise, adapt, be creative, and problem solve.
  • Proficiency in data analysis in spreadsheet software for spreadsheet applications.
