PURPOSE


The Promotions and Events Coordinator is responsible for supporting the ongoing planning, coordination and execution of promotions and special events such as high-profile drawings, slot tournaments, Table Games promotions, invitational events, gift giveaways, off-site events, etc., as well as providing a high level of guest service as described in The Exceptional Entertainment Experience.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Event Execution: Assist in the planning, set-up, execution, and breakdown of all on-site and off-site promotions and special events.
  • Guest Relations: Maintain detailed knowledge of all promotions and special events to effectively communicate rules, policies, and regulations to internal and external guests. Effectively handle and resolve errors, disputes, and guest complaints in a positive and collaborative manner.
  • Promotions and Event Operations: Assist leadership in the planning, coordination, and execution of compliant promotions and special events with integrity.
  • Brand Representation: Act as a professional emcee for large-scale promotions on the casino floor, at special events, and across digital channels.
  • Project Management: Manage full event lifecycles, including detailed planning, presentations, and pre- and post-event reviews.
  • Prize Execution: Conduct electronic drawings, verify guest information, and securely issue cash or alternative prizes.
  • Collateral & Copy: Support the development, editing, and proofreading of official rules, fact sheets, signage, and marketing communications.
  • Collateral Management: Ensure all signage and collateral on the gaming floor is accurate and current, including the scheduled installation and removal of displays, decorations, and other materials.
  • Administrative Controls: Maintain and manage internal processes, expense tracking, inventory, and other auditing controls in a detailed and efficient manner.
  • Systems Proficiency: Use gaming software, player tracking systems, and project management software to plan, execute, and manage promotions and events proficiently.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Support ongoing relations with vendors and community partners in a timely, positive, and engaging manner.
  • Cross-Departmental Support: Provide support for Promotions, Players Club, Advertising, Sportsbook, Hospitality, Public Relations, Entertainment, and other departments as needed.
  • Operational Support: Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD). 
  • Minimum one (1) year working in guest service, promotions, special events.
  • Any combination of education and experience that clearly demonstrates the ability to perform the job duties of the position. 
  • Previous casino marketing experience preferred.

  • Casino Operations: Experience with gaming player tracking systems, casino players clubs, and the execution of marketing promotions and special events preferred.
  • Public Speaking: Strong public speaking and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently address and engage large audiences preferred. 


Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel exercises Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring, in compliance with the Snoqualmie Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO). You must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. The use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant for positions in any department other than Transportation (Valet, Driver I). DOT panel testing is required for the Driver position.
