IS THIS YOU?

• You have hands-on experience operating front-end loaders and snowplows -- and you take Alaska winters seriously

• You're reliable, self-directed, and take ownership of the spaces you maintain -- you don't wait to be told when something needs attention

• You want stable, year-round employment -- not seasonal work -- at a high-volume dealership that depends on you

WHO WE ARE

Swickard Auto Group is a hospitality company that happens to sell and service cars. We believe the best guest experiences start with the best employee experiences. That's why we've grown to 40+ rooftops across the West Coast, Alaska, and Hawaii while maintaining a culture built on one simple idea: do right by people, every time.

Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac of Anchorage is a high-volume, multi-brand dealership that stays open and fully operational year-round -- and that requires a facilities team that takes the same approach. The Facilities Maintenance Technician keeps our lots clear, our building operational, and our guests and team members safe regardless of what Alaska throws at us.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Operate front-end loaders and snowplows to clear lots, drive lanes, and customer areas during snow events -- responding with urgency as conditions require

• Maintain safe, accessible dealership grounds throughout Alaska's winter season

• Perform general building maintenance -- lighting, doors, minor repairs, and ongoing upkeep

• Support basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC needs as they arise

• Maintain exterior grounds and dealership appearance year-round

• Assist with equipment upkeep and coordinate repairs when needed

• Be available for early mornings, evenings, or weekends during active snow events

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Experience operating front-end loaders and snowplows -- required

• Prior snow removal experience in a commercial or municipal setting

• 2+ years of facilities, maintenance, or hands-on trade experience

• Comfortable working outdoors in Alaska winter conditions -- this is not a desk job

• Reliable, self-directed, and team-oriented

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record -- required

WHAT WE OFFER

$20 - $30/hr DOE

• Year-round, stable employment -- this is not seasonal work

• Medical, dental, and vision insurance

• Life insurance and supplemental coverage options

• 401(k) plan

• Paid time off and paid holidays

• Employee vehicle purchase and service discounts

WHY CHEVROLET BUICK GMC CADILLAC OF ANCHORAGE

• Consistent, year-round hours -- no layoffs when the snow melts, no scrambling for work in the off-season

• A high-volume dealership that depends on this role -- your work is visible, valued, and essential to daily operations

• Part of a 40+ rooftop automotive group with the stability and resources to back a long-term career

• A team that values reliability, ownership, and execution -- the people who show up and get it done are recognized here

This is a stable, year-round role for someone who takes pride in keeping a busy dealership safe, accessible, and looking its best -- in conditions that demand real skill and real reliability. If you have the heavy equipment experience and the work ethic to match Alaska's winters, we'd like to meet you.
