Unica Enterprises is seeking a self-motivated, energetic, responsible individual to join our team as an Assistant Site Manager. The Assistant Site Manager supports the Site Manager in day-to-day site operations, including staffing, service quality, customer satisfaction, team development, and administrative follow-through. This role works closely with the Site Manager, HR, supervisors, and team leads to help maintain service standards, support employees, and ensure consistent communication and accountability across the site.

  • Supports consistent service quality and a strong customer experience
  • Helps build a reliable team with clear expectations and follow-through
  • Partners with the Site Manager and HR on hiring, onboarding, coaching, and discipline
  • Supports the development of supervisors, team leads, and frontline staff
  • Uses training, check-ins, and site routines to reduce confusion and rework
  • Balances operational urgency with fairness, communication, and employee support

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily site operations across shifts, crews, and customer expectations
  • Support the Site Manager and HR with interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and employee relations
  • Assist with staffing plans and coverage for absences, turnover, and changing site needs
  • Support supervisors and team leads through regular check-ins, expectations, and coaching
  • Conduct site walkthroughs, quality reviews, and follow-up on service concerns as assigned
  • Help maintain strong relationships with customers and site contacts
  • Respond to service concerns, communicate updates, and ensure appropriate follow-through
  • Monitor training completion, safety practices, and policy compliance
  • Support performance reviews, coaching conversations, and employee development efforts
  • Help ensure supplies, equipment, and site resources are available and managed properly
  • Track and communicate site patterns such as quality issues, turnover, callouts, and staffing pressure
  • Help create a site culture where employees understand expectations, receive feedback, and can see growth opportunities
Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Leadership or supervisory experience in custodial, janitorial, facilities, operations, or related service environments
  • Strong communication, people-management, and coaching skills
  • Experience supporting quality, staffing, and customer service
  • Ability to work effectively through changing site conditions, multiple shifts, and operational demands
  • Ability to partner effectively with the Site Manager and HR on hiring, onboarding, documentation, and employee issues
  • Experience with scheduling, workforce coordination, and operational problem-solving
  • Experience in high-volume, multi-shift, or customer-facing environments preferred

Work Conditions

  • Combination of site presence, leadership support, and administrative follow-through
  • May need to support early morning, evening, overnight, or weekend operations depending on site needs
  • Frequent movement across the site and regular interaction with customers and staff
  • May be required to wear a uniform and use PPE when on the floor
Salary Description
$50,000 - $52,000
