ATL is seeking Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) Pavement Technicians to perform sampling, testing, and inspection of asphalt materials used in roadway and infrastructure projects throughout New York State. Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) Pavement Technician Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Basic math and good communication skills
  • Possession of a valid New York State driver’s license
  • Positive attitude, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • NETTCP and/or NYSDOT DTI Certification

Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) Pavement Technician Responsibilities:

  • Quality control monitoring of HMA placement
  • Perform sampling, testing and monitoring of HMA materials
  • Follow safety standards and procedures
  • Prepare accurate test and inspection reports using electronic report templates
  • Effectively communicate with clients and other project stakeholders

Salary Description
$24.00-$38.00/hourly
