Truss Assembler | Youth Apprentice (School-to-Work Program) 

Location: Wrightstown, Wisconsin

Pay: Starting at $17/hr

Hours: Flexible based on students needs/availability (2nd shift hours between 1p-9p, but could be earlier or later for student)

What You’ll Do (Under Direct Mentorship) Working directly alongside experienced Line Leaders and mentors, you will:

• Learn High-Tech Manufacturing: Monitor automated truss-building machinery and integrate advanced robotic technology into your daily workflow.
• Master Digital Schematics: Learn to read building plans, interpret digital schematics, and accurately position pre-cut lumber.
• Hands-On Assembly: Secure truss joints using metal reinforcement plates, hammers, and pneumatic tools.
• Quality Assurance: Verify exact dimensions and check assembly accuracy before products move to the stacker.
• Safety First: Maintain a clean work environment and strictly adhere to all youth safety protocols.

What We’re Looking For

• Current High School Junior or Senior in good academic standing.
• Basic math skills and an eagerness to learn practical measurement.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb on/off platforms (2.5–3 ft) repeatedly.
• Dependable attitude, strong safety awareness, and readiness to contribute to a supportive team.
