Summary:

 he Storeroom Attendant is responsible for supporting daily storeroom and inventory operations at a customer site. This position receives, stocks, organizes, and distributes materials while maintaining accurate inventory levels and providing excellent customer service. The Storeroom Attendant also supports vending, point-of-use, and tool crib locations throughout the customer's facility. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, unload, and organize incoming products, verifying quantities and identifying discrepancies.
  • Pull, pick, pack, and distribute material orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Stock and replenish storeroom, vending, tool crib, bin, and other point-of-use inventory locations.
  • Deliver materials to designated areas within the customer's facility as needed.
  • Conduct cycle counts and inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Use inventory management systems, scanners, and other technology to record inventory transactions and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare pick tickets, invoices, and other documentation related to inventory and order fulfillment.
  • Assist customers with locating materials, product questions, and other inventory needs.
  • Communicate inventory shortages, discrepancies, equipment issues, and customer concerns to the appropriate team member.
  • Maintain clean, organized, properly labeled, and accessible storage areas.
  • Assist with basic maintenance and upkeep of company inventory equipment.
  • Follow all company and customer safety policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Work collaboratively with the Storeroom Manager, inventory team, and customer contacts to support daily operations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous warehouse, storeroom, inventory control, or related experience preferred.
  • Experience receiving, stocking, picking, packing, or moving materials in a warehouse or industrial environment preferred.
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry and inventory management systems; experience with WMS scanners or similar technology preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Demonstration of basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units to measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals); ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently complete assigned responsibilities.
  • Ability to maintain a professional, dependable, and safety-focused approach.
  • Forklift certification may be required based on location and job responsibilities.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record may be required if driving is part of the position.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to routinely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend, reach, lift, carry, and perform other physical activities required for storeroom and inventory operations.
  • Ability to safely operate applicable equipment and tools.

Full-time

Monday - Friday

7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Occasional weekends possible (TBD)

Salary Description
$21 - $22 per hour
