As a Patient Experience Specialist, you’ll often be one of the first people our patients interact with—whether you’re welcoming them into the office, answering the phone, or helping coordinate their appointments. We’re looking for someone who can bring positivity, professionalism, and excellent communication to every interaction.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome patients and families with a warm, friendly attitude
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions
- Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments
- Check patients in and out efficiently
- Communicate appointment expectations and help keep patients informed of timing or delays
- Assist with new patient inquiries and help create an amazing first impression
- Maintain accurate patient information and documentation
- Work closely with our clinical and administrative teams to keep the day running smoothly
- Help problem-solve patient concerns with professionalism and compassion
- Support additional front-office responsibilities as needed
Dental or orthodontic experience is a plus, but it is not required! We’re happy to train the right person who brings a great attitude, strong communication skills, and a desire to grow.
Why Join Our Team?
We believe orthodontics is about more than creating great smiles—it’s about creating an experience patients and families look forward to. You’ll be joining a team that values teamwork, positivity, growth, and providing exceptional care to our community.

- A positive, outgoing, team-focused personality
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and stay calm in a busy environment
- Dependability and a strong work ethic
- Comfortable communicating both in person and over the phone
- Willingness to learn and receive feedback
- Someone who genuinely enjoys helping people
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or healthcare-related education preferred.
- Team members are expected to uphold the culture outlined in the SDB Handbook, with a focus on our core values and any additional responsibilities as defined.
