We are seeking an experienced Controller to serve as a trusted financial partner, providing the financial insight, oversight, and discipline needed to support sound business decisions and long-term organizational success. This will be a Hybrid position.

We are a leading ophthalmic group serving patients across Washington, Idaho, and Alaska. Our organization has multiple clinics and surgery centers, creating a dynamic and complex operating environment.
We are looking for a hands-on financial leader who can strengthen processes, develop people, identify opportunities for improvement, and turn financial information into clear, actionable insight. The successful candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, sound business judgment, and the ability to effectively lead in a complex healthcare environment.
What You'll Do
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including financial statements, cash flow, and budget-to-actual analysis.
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team on annual budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and analysis.
- Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and key trends, identifying variances, risks, and opportunities.
- Oversee accounting operations, month-end and year-end close processes, reconciliations, accounts payable, and financial reporting.
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements.
- Manage relationships with banking partners and coordinate tax compliance and financial matters with external accountants.
- Partner with the CEO on leases, contracts, capital expenditures, and other financial commitments.
- Lead, develop, and support the accounting team, fostering accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Provide financial insight and recommendations to the CEO, executive leadership, and Board to support organizational growth and strategic decision-making.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible accounting or finance experience, including demonstrated experience in a managerial or leadership role.
- Healthcare finance experience preferred, particularly experience with revenue cycle management and multi-site healthcare operations.
