ABOUT THE POSITION AND OUR TEAM: 

TransImpact is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex client engagements within our Professional Services organization.


Our teams help clients transform how they plan, analyze, and operate their businesses through supply chain planning software, analytics, business intelligence, data integration, and consulting services. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be at the center of those engagements, bringing together our clients, consultants, developers, analysts, and internal teams to turn project objectives into successful outcomes.


This is a senior individual-contributor role for someone who knows how to lead complex implementations, communicate confidently with executives, anticipate problems before they become escalations, and maintain disciplined control over scope, schedule, budget, risk, and client expectations.


LOCATION, WORK ARRANGEMENT, AND TRAVEL:

This position may be based remotely or from one of TransImpact’s office locations. Employees who reside within 45 miles of an office will follow the company’s in-office work model, which currently requires onsite attendance three days per week (Tuesday through Thursday). Employees approved for remote work may be required to travel to and work from a TransImpact office on a quarterly basis for team meetings, collaboration sessions, training, business planning activities, or other business needs.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Independently manages a portfolio of approximately 6–8 client engagements, with assignments varying based on project size and complexity.
  • Lead complex software, SaaS, analytics, and consulting engagements from kickoff through successful completion.
  • Build and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Serve as a primary project and commercial point of contact for clients.
  • Lead recurring project-status meetings and communicate effectively with operational and executive stakeholders.
  • Coordinate consultants, analysts, developers, technical resources, client teams, and third-party participants.
  • Proactively identify risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions that could affect delivery.
  • Drive action and accountability when projects encounter ambiguity, delays, or competing priorities.
  • Manage project scope and facilitate appropriate change control when requirements evolve.
  • Monitor project financial performance, budget consumption, forecasts, and estimates to complete.
  • Identify potential schedule, budget, or margin problems early and develop corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate project information within our delivery-management systems.
  • Apply TransImpact's Proven Process and established implementation standards across your projects.
  • Partner with Sales during project transition and with Client Success and Support as clients move into ongoing operations.
  • Share experience and project-management best practices with peers across the Professional Services organization.


Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Administration or related field and six (6) to ten (10) years of progressive project management experience. 
  • Significant experience independently leading complex client-facing projects.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent engagements.
  • Experience in SaaS, software implementation, Professional Services, technology consulting, analytics, enterprise systems, or another solution-delivery environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, dependencies, and client expectations.
  • Experience managing project financials and maintaining reliable forecasts.
  • Experience communicating with executives and senior client stakeholders.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • The confidence to lead difficult client conversations and drive decisions.
  • The judgment to recognize when an issue can be resolved within the project and when leadership involvement is necessary.
  • The ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Project Management Professional or Program Management Professional certification.
