Description
The Travel Support Services Specialist is responsible for coordinating and supporting travel arrangements for employees, clients, or customers. This role ensures efficient travel planning, compliance with company travel policies, and exceptional customer service while managing reservations, itineraries, travel documentation, and issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, rental cars, rail transportation, and ground transportation.
- Assist travelers with itinerary planning and provide travel-related guidance.
- Process travel reservations, modifications, cancellations, and refunds.
- Ensure compliance with organizational travel policies and procedures.
- Monitor travel schedules and provide support for travel disruptions, delays, or emergencies.
- Maintain accurate travel records and documentation.
- Communicate travel updates, requirements, and travel advisories to travelers.
- Support travel expense reporting and reimbursement processes.
- Liaise with travel vendors, airlines, hotels, and transportation providers to resolve issues.
- Provide excellent customer service and timely responses to travel inquiries.
- Generate reports related to travel activity, costs, and compliance.
- Assist with passport, visa, and other travel documentation requirements when applicable.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in travel coordination, customer service, administrative support, or a related field.
- Knowledge of travel booking systems and travel management platforms.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams).
- Ability to work independently and handle time-sensitive situations.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with corporate travel management.
- Familiarity with travel policy compliance and expense management systems.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field or experience with professional certifications.
- Two or more years of progressive experience with degree. Degree can be substituted with experience.
- Travel as required.
