This hands-on role is an important part of creating clean, organized, and welcoming spaces for members, guests, and fellow employees.

What You'll Do

  • Set banquet, meeting, and event spaces according to function sheets, room diagrams, verbal instructions, and Club standards
  • Arrange and stage tables, chairs, audiovisual equipment, buffet tables, linens, skirting, props, refreshment stations, and other assigned event materials
  • Reset rooms between functions and adjust setups promptly based on event timing and management direction
  • Break down banquet and meeting spaces after events and return furniture, equipment, linens, audiovisual materials, and supplies to designated storage areas
  • Organize and maintain banquet storage areas so items are properly stored and ready for future events
  • Assist banquet service and kitchen staff with event support needs, including meeting breaks, moving or staging supplies, and other event-related support
  • Assist with general cleaning and upkeep of banquet spaces, storage areas, and other assigned areas inside and outside the clubhouse
  • Perform maintenance tasks as assigned
  • Safely operate golf carts and utility carts for approved transportation, setup, pickup, and delivery needs throughout Club property
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Previous banquet setup, hospitality, event, maintenance, or related experience preferred
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to follow function sheets, room diagrams, verbal instructions, and event timelines accurately
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds independently and assist with heavier furniture, equipment, and event materials as needed
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods
  • Valid driver’s license preferred for approved golf cart and utility cart operation
