As Accounting Manager...
You will work closely with the Director of Finance and collaborate cross-functionally with department leaders to keep our financial operations running smoothly and accurately.

As Accounting Manager, you will:
- Manage and report daily transactions involving revenue, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash disbursements, and inventory
- Participate in monthly property inventories, ensuring accurate pricing and properly formatted spreadsheet calculations
- Reconcile designated balance sheet accounts monthly, within required deadlines
- Complete monthly closing activities, including journal entries, accrual calculations, and responses to income statement and balance sheet inquiries
- Verify, allocate, and post business transactions — sales slips, invoices, receipts, check stubs, and reports — into the general ledger
- Post monthly tenant rents per the rent roll schedule
- Compile financial and statistical reports (receipts, expenditures, payables/receivables, profit and loss, and more)
- Process payables weekly and receivables biweekly to ensure timely payment and invoicing
- Apply GAAP principles to prepare accurate month-end financial reports
- Take on additional projects and responsibilities as needed

What we are looking for
- 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally in hospitality
- Associate degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong computer skills and comfort working with spreadsheets and financial systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage peak workloads with a high degree of confidentiality
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays based on business needs (e.g., inventories, closing schedules)
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods; ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
