DBT Therapist
Description

At Austin DBT Associates, we offer adherent DBT and RO-DBT for adults, adolescents, families, and couples. Treatment is provided by licensed clinicians offering the complete model of DBT -- individual therapy, skills class, team consultation, and between-session phone coaching. All clinicians attend weekly team consultation, led by our directors with over 40 years combined DBT experience, which offers opportunity for support, growth, and quality client care.

In the mental health field, clinicians are well-trained in validation. In real world practice, clinicians struggle to apply change strategies and gain treatment commitment (skills for increasing client motivation). DBT goes beyond treating diagnostic symptoms and moves into addressing behavioral patterns that interfere with building a life worth living.

We are now hiring for our October 6th cohort!

We are currently seeking Therapists who are excited to learn DBT. The right candidate has a strong passion for learning DBT and feels comfortable engaging with challenging behavioral patterns, being open, and accepting feedback during team consultations. Folks of all backgrounds and experience levels are encouraged to apply.
