As the Assistant Site Lead, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations, leading by example, and ensuring every customer receives an exceptional experience. This hands-on leadership position assists with team supervision, operational excellence, safety compliance, and maintaining the highest standards of service and site appearance. Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Site Leader to oversee daily car wash operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable site performance.
- Support the implementation and enforcement of company policies, operating procedures, and safety standards.
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training team members to drive engagement and performance.
- Foster a positive, customer-focused culture that prioritizes exceptional service and teamwork.
- Assume leadership responsibilities and direct site operations during the absence of the Site Leader.
- Deliver an outstanding guest experience by addressing customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Support achievement of operational, production, labor, sales, and profitability goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe facility, including the wash tunnel, equipment rooms, lot areas, lobby, and restrooms.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facility conditions, identifying and addressing issues proactively.
- Monitor the performance of all wash equipment and systems to ensure optimal functionality and minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot operational and mechanical issues and coordinate timely repairs or corrective actions.
- Promote and drive sales of wash packages, memberships, loyalty programs, and other revenue-generating initiatives.
- Monitor traffic flow and staffing levels, deploying resources effectively during peak business periods.
- Ensure site appearance consistently reflects company branding, image standards, and customer expectations.
- Utilize mechanical aptitude and operational knowledge to support maintenance and troubleshooting of car wash systems, including tunnel equipment, pumps, reclaim systems, reverse osmosis systems, and related machinery.
- Complete additional duties and special projects as assigned by the Site Leader or management team.
Essential Duties
Maintain and promote a culture of safety and regulatory compliance.
- Serve as a designated key holder and assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Manage cash handling activities in accordance with company standards and internal controls.
- Lead and facilitate pre-shift meetings to communicate objectives, safety topics, and operational updates.
- Investigate and follow up on customer incidents, claims, and safety-related concerns.
- Monitor and manage chemical inventories to ensure adequate supply levels and safe handling practices.
- Provide advanced operational troubleshooting and Tier 2 mechanical support as needed.
Work Environment
This position operates in a fast-paced car wash environment and requires regular work in both indoor and outdoor settings. Employees may be exposed to varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, humidity, rain, and direct sunlight, as well as moving mechanical equipment, cleaning chemicals, water, and moderate noise levels. This role requires frequent interaction with customers, employees, vendors, and service providers while maintaining a professional and safety-focused work environment.

To successfully perform the essential functions of this position, the employee must be able to:
- Frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and move throughout the facility.
- Work both indoors and outdoors for extended periods of time.
- Use hands, arms, and tools to operate equipment and perform basic maintenance tasks.
- Occasionally push, pull, carry, and lift materials, tools, equipment, and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Safely inspect, troubleshoot, and assist in the repair of operational and mechanical equipment.
- Maintain the ability to respond quickly to changing operational and customer service needs.
