The Margaret E. Moul Home is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our team on 1st shift. We specialize in caring for individuals with cerebral palsy and other neuromuscular conditions and are committed to providing personalized, high-quality care in a supportive and collaborative environment. As a CNA, you’ll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with our residents, support their daily needs, and make a positive difference in their lives each day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Monitor and report changes in patients’ condition, including neurological and muscular status
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies
- Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures at all times

Skills and Qualifications:
- Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification required
- Experience with Mechanical Lifts or a willingness to learn how to use
- Prior experience working with neuromuscular patients preferred
- Knowledge of neuromuscular disorders and related care techniques preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and attentive to detail
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and maintain patient safe

This is an in-person, hands-on position at the Margaret E. Moul Home. CNAs work directly with residents and alongside the nursing and healthcare team in a long-term care setting. This position requires regular on-site attendance and active, hands-on support with residents throughout the shift.
