The International College of Health Sciences (ICHS) is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Adjunct General Education Philosophy Instructor to join our team.
What You Will Do:
- Lead and facilitate engaging weekly live online Philosophy sessions.
- Employ effective teaching strategies to introduce foundational philosophical concepts, theories, and methods of critical inquiry.
- Guide students in examining ethical questions, evaluating arguments, and applying philosophical reasoning to real-world issues.
- Foster respectful, thoughtful discussion that encourages diverse perspectives and evidence-based analysis.
- Coach and mentor students toward academic achievement and successful course completion.
- Provide timely feedback, support, and guidance in a virtual learning environment.
- Contribute to a supportive, collaborative, and dynamic online academic community.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Successful applicants must meet the following requirements:
- A master’s degree from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 18 master’s-level semester credit hours in Philosophy.
- Prior experience teaching Philosophy at the college or university level is preferred.
- Experience teaching in an online or virtual learning environment is preferred.
- Strong communication, student engagement, discussion facilitation, and technology skills.
