- At least five years of progressive HR operations, HRIS, or HR shared services experience, including hands-on transaction processing.
- Direct experience with Paylocity or a comparable HRIS platform, including transactions, reporting, and organizational structure maintenance.
- Demonstrated experience developing SOPs and standardizing HR processes.
- Strong attention to data accuracy and experience auditing and troubleshooting system records.
- Previous people management experience or demonstrated readiness to manage and develop a team.
- Ability to operate effectively across a distributed, multi-site employee population, including corporate and onsite property roles.
- Ability and willingness to travel periodically based on business needs.
- Experience owning or leading an onboarding function across multiple locations.
- Experience administering certification or credential tracking programs.
- Familiarity with ticketing or case management systems, such as ServiceNow or Zendesk, or experience developing a business case for implementation.
- Multifamily, property management, or other multi-location industry experience.
In this role, you will
- Own and oversee employee lifecycle transactions in Paylocity, including new hires, terminations, transfers, and pay changes, ensuring appropriate approvals, accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Maintain HRIS data integrity, organizational charts, and reporting structures across corporate and onsite employee populations.
- Establish and maintain operational controls, audits, and approval processes for employee transactions, system access, compensation changes, and organizational data.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for HR processes while building the foundation for a future ticketing or case management system.
- Own company-wide onboarding operations and ensure a consistent, compliant, and positive new-hire experience across all markets.
- Deliver or facilitate onboarding training in Las Vegas as needed and partner with Talent, property leadership, and HR Operations to standardize workflows across markets.
- Manage the workers' compensation process and support HR compliance reporting with accurate, reliable data.
- Serve as the first point of contact for HRIS access, permissions, and employee self-service support.
- Lead the cleanup and ongoing administration of certification and credential tracking, including monitoring and renewal accountability.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve data quality and streamline HR processes through technology, automation, AI, workflow redesign, and employee or manager self-service.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and vendors on HR technology implementations, integrations, testing, data validation, process design, and change management.
- Establish and monitor HR Operations service levels and key performance indicators, including accuracy, processing time, onboarding effectiveness, case volume, resolution time, and data quality.
- Support new community onboarding, acquisitions, takeovers, and organizational growth by ensuring employee data, systems, processes, and onboarding requirements are executed consistently.
- Manage, coach, and develop direct reports; set priorities, review work quality, and build team capability to scale with company growth.
- Travel periodically to Mark-Taylor markets, communities, and corporate locations to support onboarding, system implementations, training, operational initiatives, and other business priorities.
