Safety Coordinator
Description

Safety isn't just paperwork—and neither is this job.

Milford is growing, and we're looking for an organized, detail-driven Safety Coordinator to help keep our employees trained, our safety programs moving, and our customer compliance requirements on track.

This position serves as a central point for safety documentation, employee training coordination, incident follow-up, contractor compliance systems, and other safety-related administrative functions.

If you're someone who can keep a lot of moving pieces organized, follow through until something is actually finished, and communicate comfortably with employees, managers, vendors, and customers, we want to talk to you.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate safety and      compliance activities across multiple Milford locations
  • Track required employee      safety training, certifications, renewals, and expiration dates
  • Schedule internal and      third-party training and help identify cost-effective training options
  • Maintain customer and      contractor safety/compliance systems and required documentation
  • Assist HR with      developing, updating, communicating, and maintaining safety policies and      procedures
  • Gather information and      documentation following workplace injuries and incidents
  • Coordinate required      post-accident testing with HR
  • Follow up with      third-party administrators and obtain authorized medical documentation      when needed
  • Maintain accurate      safety, incident, training, and compliance records
  • Help identify upcoming      training or compliance requirements before they become problems
  • Work with managers to      resolve missing documentation, overdue training, and other safety-related      items
  • Support Milford's      continued development of consistent safety processes across the      organization

What We're Looking For

  • Prior experience in      safety, EHS, compliance, training coordination, HR/safety administration,      or a related field
  • Strong organization and      attention to detail
  • Excellent      follow-through—you don't need someone reminding you that something is      still outstanding
  • Strong written and      verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working with      employees and managers at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage      multiple deadlines, locations, systems, and priorities
  • Comfortable working with      online customer and contractor compliance platforms
  • Strong computer and      documentation skills
  • Ability to handle      confidential and sensitive information appropriately
  • OSHA 10      certification is required after hire and will be provided/paid for by      Milford

The Right Person

You don't have to know every answer on day one.

We need someone who is organized, accountable, comfortable asking questions, willing to learn, and persistent enough to chase down the answer when something isn't complete.

This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys the administrative and coordination side of safety but also wants the opportunity to help improve how a growing company manages safety, training, and compliance.

Location & Travel

This is primarily an office-based position with minimal travel. The position may be based in Midland or the Dallas–Fort Worth area, with remote eligibility depending on the candidate and business needs.
