Parts Runner
Consolidated Truck Parts & Service specializes in bumper-to-bumper light, medium and heavy-duty
truck and equipment repair. We provide Service Done Right to get our clients back on the road and
making money as soon as possible. We exist to improve the lives of everyone with whom we come in

• Pick up and deliver parts
• Customer relations

• Safe Driving
The Parts Runner reports directly to the Parts Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Do The Right Thing
• Follow the Customer Communication Process to ensure excellent service to our customers.
• Maintain a positive, friendly, and helpful attitude in all that you do.
• Always perform the job with a safety mindset in accordance with all applicable standards,
policies and regulatory guidelines (i.e., OSHA standards, company safety policies) to promote a
safe working environment.
• Never use your phone while driving and/or operating equipment and eliminate any other
unnecessary distractions.
• Drive the speed limit.
• When you are running errands do not waste time but be accountable by spending your time on the
road in the best interest of our customers.
Relentless Drive
• Follow industry newsletters and education resources for our industry to stay up to date and find
better ways to do your job.
• Bring new ideas on ways we can be a better place for our customers to partner with and our
employees to work.
• Keep up to date on all safety operating guidelines for the equipment you operate.
Customer Focused
• Double check the parts and quantities to ensure the proper parts and quantity are being
delivered to the correct customer.
• Ensure your deliveries are accurate and on-time as expected each and every time.
• When picking up or delivering parts take the most expedient route and do not make any
unnecessary stops to take care of
our customer in the most efficient manner.
• Answer the phone with the Consolidated greeting and positive attitude. Ask questions to
determine the purpose of their call and either solve their issue or direct the call or message to
the appropriate person. Always end it by telling them “Thank you for calling.”
Win As A Team
• Before you leave to pick up or deliver parts ask co-workers if there are any other
pickups/deliveries or errands you can run for anyone.
• Keep our customers’ needs and expectations at the top of your mind, and coordinate needs and
expectations to the applicable employees.
• Report to management any feedback or information you hear from a customer or vendor in order for
the team to best take care of our customers.
• Special duties as assigned by direct supervisor.
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
• Maintain a safe driving record.
• Conduct pickups and deliveries on time and to the correct customer or vendor.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to follow directions, read and interpret documents and comprehend instructions.
• Ability to effectively present information and our company to customers, vendors, employees, and
outside contacts.
• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form. Ability to define problems,
collect information and establish facts.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently
• Knowledge of safety rules, hazards and application of accident prevention measures.
• Ability to work during standard operating hours.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds, sit, stand and climb.
