Billing & Finance Assistant
Full-Time · Exempt | Boys & Girls Club of Jefferson City
$40,000–$50,000 / year
Great futures start with you. At the Boys & Girls Club of Jefferson City, we believe every young person deserves the chance to
discover their potential — and it takes a great team behind the scenes to make that happen. We're looking for a detail-loving,
people-first Billing & Finance Assistant to keep our billing and finance operations running smoothly while being a warm, reliable
point of contact for the families we serve. If you love bringing order to numbers just as much as you love helping people, this role is your kind of job.
What You'll Do
Membership Portal Management & Customer Service
You'll be the go-to person for our membership and parent portal (MyClubHub) and the friendly face families turn to with billing questions.
You'll manage family accounts and registrations, walk parents through billing policies and payment options, and enter membership and attendance data across systems like Kinderconnect, MyClubHub, the Missouri Childcare Subsidy system, and MADS.
Billing Coordination
You'll own the full billing cycle — from invoicing and tracking payments to reconciling daily transactions — always following up on past-due accounts with professionalism and empathy.
Finance Support
You'll partner with our Finance team on monthly reporting, reconciliations, and audit prep, and help make sure our numbers are accurate for grant reporting and food program compliance.
What You Bring
An associate's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field (bachelor's a plus)
At least 2 years of experience in billing, finance, or administrative support — nonprofit or youth-services experience is a bonus
Comfort with Microsoft Office (especially Excel); billing or accounting software experience is a plus
A knack for staying organized and juggling multiple priorities without missing a beat
Excellent communication skills and a genuine customer-first mindset
Discretion and integrity when handling sensitive financial information
Why You'll Love Working Here
Competitive pay: $40,000–$50,000, based on experience
Health insurance, 75% employer-paid
Employer-paid life insurance and short- & long-term disability coverage
Generous PTO and paid holidays
Free gym membership to the LINC
Support for your professional growth and training
A genuinely supportive, mission-driven team that shows up for kids and for each other
