Events Lead Job Summary
The Events Lead leads the planning and execution of Circle Brands’ trade shows, rodeos, consumer events, dealer events, product-launch activations, and other brand experiences.
The position turns company, brand, and commercial priorities into well-planned events that strengthen customer relationships, support sales and product objectives, and deliver a consistent, professional, and engaging experience across Circle Y, Tucker Trail, Reinsman, and Precision Saddle Tree. The Events Lead coordinates internal teams, outside partners, budgets, logistics, and on-site execution from initial evaluation through post-event review.
The Events Lead is expected to practice Kaspar Business Systems (KBS) through standard work, visual management, structured problem-solving, direct observation, and continuous improvement to strengthen event execution, reduce waste, and improve the value created through each event.
Events Lead Responsibilities
- Manage event proposals, budgets and P&Ls, leadership approvals, and the Circle Brands event calendar.
- Direct event planning through clear project plans, timelines, responsibilities, alignment routines, and repeatable standard work.
- Lead booth and event-space planning, design, setup, show services, and coordination with outside vendors.
- Coordinate event staffing, travel, customer materials, point-of-sale requirements, lead capture, pricing, product presentation, and other event logistics.
- Partner with Sales and Product Development on product assortment, pricing, inventory, and event objectives, and coordinate transportation and fulfillment requirements with Operations and Shipping.
- Coordinate event marketing with Marketing and sponsorship, talent, and partner requirements with the appropriate internal and external contributors.
- Lead on-site setup, brand and visual standards, staffing coordination, issue resolution, customer activities, and daily event execution.
- Manage teardown, return logistics, product and inventory reconciliation, and event-asset control following each event.
- Monitor event expenses, sales, leads, customer response, and other measures appropriate to the event, and complete post-event reviews to capture learning and improve future execution.
- Apply KBS principles to improve event standard work, visual management, problem-solving, workplace organization, and continuous improvement.

Events Lead Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, hospitality, event management, business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- Three or more years of relevant event management, marketing, hospitality, project management, or related experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets, vendors, timelines, logistics, and multiple stakeholders
- Experience with booth builds, show services, shipping, inventory, or retail event operations preferred
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 and project-management tools
- Western, rodeo, equine, consumer-product, or related industry experience preferred
Physical Requirements
- Extended periods of sitting and computer use
- Occasional work around horses when required for event activities
- Occasional bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting up to 25 pounds
- Ability to assist with packing, setup, product movement, and event-support activities
- Ability to travel by vehicle and air
- Ability to work extended or non-traditional hours during events and activations as needed
Work Environment
- Work is split between office environments and trade shows, rodeos, event venues, warehouses, and other operating areas
- Exposure to livestock, outdoor conditions, variable temperatures, manufacturing noise, equipment, leather dust, oils, and adhesives may occur
- Event environments may be crowded, noisy, fast-paced, and subject to changing schedules or conditions
- Frequent interaction with Marketing, Sales, Product Development, Operations, Shipping, vendors, partners, and event personnel
- Evening and weekend work may occasionally be required based on campaign, content, and event schedules
