Celtic Property Management is seeking an experienced and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team at Palm Terrace in Chandler, Arizona.

We are looking for a true hands-on maintenance professional with strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to handle a wide variety of repairs. This is not an entry-level maintenance position. The ideal candidate can assess a problem, determine what needs to be done, and complete the repair efficiently and professionally.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems 
• Complete resident work orders accurately and timely 
• Perform plumbing and basic electrical repairs 
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances 
• Perform pool maintenance and help maintain proper pool conditions 
• Repair and replace cabinets, countertops, hardware, and fixtures 
• Repair and replace flooring 
• Complete drywall repairs, painting, patching, and touch-ups 
• Perform carpentry and general handyman repairs 
• Complete apartment make-readies and unit turns 
• Perform preventative maintenance and property inspections 
• Maintain property equipment, tools, and maintenance areas 
• Help maintain the overall appearance and condition of the community 
• Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to maintenance emergencies as required

 What We’re Looking For

We need someone with a strong “I can fix it” mentality who isn’t afraid to troubleshoot a problem and find the solution.

• Previous apartment, multifamily, residential, or similar maintenance experience 
• Strong HVAC repair and troubleshooting experience required 
• HVAC certification preferred 
• Pool maintenance experience 
• Plumbing and basic electrical experience 
• Appliance repair experience 
• Cabinet repair and replacement experience 
• Flooring repair and replacement experience 
• Drywall, painting, carpentry, and general handyman skills 
• Ability to repair and troubleshoot a wide variety of maintenance issues 
• Strong problem-solving skills 
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Professional customer service when working with residents 
• Willingness to participate in the on-call rotation
