Vitamins, Minerals & Supplements | Full-Time
Reports to: Brand Director
About the Role
We're looking for a resourceful, driven Marketing Associate to lead marketing initiatives for the healthcare practitioner (HCP) channel across all three of our brands — Gaia Herbs and Gaia Herbs PRO — while also supporting the execution of retail marketing needs for Gaia Herbs, including in-store merchandising and retail sales materials.
This is a role for someone who thrives in a high-output environment, can manage a wide breadth of work without losing focus on quality, and takes real pride in producing polished, credible, and compliant materials. You'll work across digital and print channels, partnering closely with our education, HCP sales, and retail sales teams to bring Gaia Herbs and Gaia Herbs PRO to life in ways that resonate with practitioners, retail partners, and clinical audiences. You're a true partner to sales, not an order-taker — someone who asks the right questions to understand the need behind a request and brings back the best solution, not just the one that was asked for.
We're an established company with a lot of ground to cover, which means this role offers real variety, visible impact, and the satisfaction of seeing your work in market quickly. If you're the kind of marketer who can move seamlessly between a clinical protocol, a practitioner-facing sales piece, a retail merchandising concept, a targeted email campaign, and patient-facing materials - and make each one feel thoughtful and precise- we want to talk.
What You'll Do
HCP Channel Marketing Lead (Gaia Herbs and Gaia Herbs PRO)
- Marketing Asset Creation: Lead the development and execution of digital and print marketing materials across Gaia Herbs and Gaia Herbs PRO, working cross-functionally with our education, HCP sales, and creative teams to ensure consistency, scientific credibility, and alignment with practitioner expectations.
- HCP Marketing Ownership: Own the day-to-day marketing relationship with the HCP sales team across, operating with enough category knowledge and hands-on HCP experience to work independently, anticipate needs, and act as the marketing lead for the channel.
- HCP Marketing Calendar: Lead the development and maintenance of the HCP marketing calendar, sequencing campaigns, content, email and events so the channel runs against a coordinated plan.
- Professional & Clinical Content: Partner with the education team to create and execute practitioner-facing materials across all three brands, including clinical protocols, product guides, and educational resources that support HCP decision-making.
- Email Marketing: Build and execute targeted email campaigns for healthcare practitioners, with messaging that is evidence-informed, relevant, and aligned with clinical use cases.
- Sales Enablement: Develop sales collateral that equips practitioner sales teams with compelling, accurate, and compliant materials for use in clinical and professional settings.
- Patient Education Materials: Support the development of patient-facing materials intended for use within practitioner settings, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with provider recommendations.
- Packaging & Inserts: Concept and produce on-brand inserts and materials that support practitioner dispensing and reinforce product value in clinical environments.
- Tradeshow Support: Spearhead the design and execution of tradeshow booths, banners, and related marketing materials in partnership with external vendors and internal stakeholders. Willingness to travel to strategic tradeshows several times per year.
Retail Marketing Execution (Gaia Herbs)
- Retail Sales Partnership: Partner directly with the Gaia Herbs retail sales team to understand account and in-store needs, and translate those needs into effective merchandising assets and sales materials.
- In-Store Merchandising: Develop in-store merchandising assets — displays, shelf materials, point-of-sale collateral — that support retail sales priorities and reinforce brand presence at shelf.
- Retail Sales Materials: Create sell sheets, account presentations, and other retail sales materials that equip the retail sales team for buyer and account conversations.
- Proactive Partnership: Act as a true thought partner to retail sales, not just an order-taker — bringing forward the best creative or material solution for a given need rather than simply executing a stated request.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, brand management, or content production, with meaningful hands-on experience in HCP/practitioner marketing within dietary supplements, healthcare, or another regulated industry — enough to operate independently as the marketing lead for that channel.
- Experience developing content for healthcare practitioners or professional audiences (e.g., physicians, naturopaths, nutritionists, wellness practitioners).
- Experience developing retail marketing materials or in-store merchandising assets, and comfort partnering directly with a retail sales team.
- A true partner mindset with sales teams — you ask questions to understand the need behind a request rather than simply executing it as given, and bring forward solutions, not just output.
- Strong ability to translate complex or technical information into clear, credible, and engaging marketing materials.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality or deadlines.
- Strong copywriting skills with an eye for design—you understand how to balance brand voice with clinical credibility.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with creative, sales, education, and external partners.
- Comfortable working within a structured project management system and an established creative process, from brief through final asset.
- A self-starter — self-directed, organized, and able to prioritize effectively without constant direction, especially important given you'll be operating as the marketing lead for the HCP channel.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership over the quality, accuracy, and compliance of your work.
- Digitally-proficient and technology-forward with strong MS Office skills.
