Overview
The Project Planner supports the Commander, Naval Surface Forces, Pacific Fleet (CNSP) Readiness Assistance Training Team (RATT) program. The RATT provides shipboard training, technical assistance, and readiness support to surface ships throughout the Pacific Fleet.
The Project Planner is responsible for developing, maintaining, and de-conflicting the master schedule for RATT and Organic Repair Capability Assessment (ORCA) events. Working with CNSP staff, ship leadership, and RATT teams, the Project Planner coordinates and prioritizes visit requirements to maximize the effective use of personnel and resources while minimizing unnecessary travel costs.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and manage the master schedule for RATT and ORCA events
- Coordinate with CNSP staff, ship leadership, and RATT teams to identify and prioritize ship visit requirements
- De-conflict competing schedules, requirements, resources, and dependencies
- Optimize the employment of RATT personnel and teams across multiple events and geographic locations
- Coordinate scheduling in consideration of Navy operational requirements, fleet readiness cycles, and training events
- Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts that could affect program execution
- Support efficient resource utilization and help minimize travel costs associated with RATT and ORCA events
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five years of experience in project planning, scheduling, or logistics coordination
- Demonstrated experience using scheduling software and tools to manage complex projects with multiple dependencies
- Strong understanding of U.S. Navy operational scheduling, fleet readiness cycles, and training event coordination
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to de-conflict schedules and manage resources
- U.S. citizenship
Security Clearance
- Must possess and maintain a SECRET clearance
