Summary

We are looking for a Marketing & Content Coordinator. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn, with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple marketing initiatives and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. They should have strong writing, communication, project management, and organizational skills, along with a curiosity for emerging technologies, AI-enabled ways of working, and industry trends shaping the future of experiences and marketing. 


The Marketing & Content Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing initiatives across Augeo Experience. This individual will work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to bring thought leadership, content marketing, social media, case studies, website initiatives, strategic campaigns, and business development efforts to life. The role also helps drive research, content development, project coordination, and operational support across the marketing function. 


The ideal candidate is resourceful, collaborative, and excited to leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to support research, content development, project coordination, and marketing execution. They should have a passion for storytelling, strong attention to detail, and a desire to continuously learn and grow.


You’ll spend your days on the following 

  • Support content marketing, social media, thought leadership, and communication initiatives across a variety of channels.  
  • Coordinate case study development, award submissions, speaking opportunities and other strategic marketing projects. 
  • Conduct industry, competitor, client, and prospect research to support marketing, business development, and thought leadership initiatives.  
  • Maintain marketing calendars, project plans, asset libraries, trackers, and supporting documentation.  
  • Assist with content creation, copywriting, proofreading, editing, publishing, and content management activities.  
  • Prepare meeting recaps, coordinate follow-up activities, and help keep projects moving forward.  
  • Create simple marketing graphics and on-brand visual assets using tools such as Canva.  
  • Support client-facing marketing initiatives; responsibilities may include client marketing, event marketing, email and communications campaigns, market research, and other project-based initiatives.   
  • Take an active role in staff and team meetings.
  • Energetically represent Augeo Experience’s brand in the community, within the industry, among prospective and current clients, and internally.

What you need to be successful in this role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business or related field preferred 
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills 
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously 
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities 
  • Proactive communication and collaboration skills 
  • Ability to take direction from and work with a variety of stakeholders and personalities 
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies, tools and marketing approaches 
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint required) 
  • Interest in content marketing, thought leadership, social media, storytelling, and experiential marketing 

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with AI, design, and social media tools such as Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Canva, and Hootsuite 
  • Previous copywriting experience for marketing, social media, blog or thought leadership content  
  • Previous experience supporting multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment 


Location

Kansas City area candidates are preferred and will follow a hybrid work schedule, working from our Overland Park office. Remote candidates may also be considered based on qualifications and overall fit for the role.
