Heartline Staffing is recruiting a Fire Protection Engineer for a full-time opportunity in Fort Collins, Colorado. This position serves as Engineer of Record and leads the design of fire protection and plumbing systems for complex healthcare environments, including life-safety systems, automatic sprinkler systems, fire pumps, piping, medical gas, and domestic water heating.

COMPENSATION

ROLE
• Lead Fire Protection And Plumbing System Design
• Design Automatic Sprinkler Layouts
• Perform Fire Pump Sizing
• Design Piping Systems
• Design Medical Gas Systems
• Design Domestic Water Heating Systems
• Perform Critical System Calculations
• Perform Life Cycle Cost Analysis
• Complete Equipment Selections For Healthcare Facilities
• Develop Detailed Construction Documents And Project-Specific Specifications
• Ensure Compliance With NFPA 13, NFPA 20 And NFPA 99
• Ensure Compliance With ASHRAE And International Building Code Requirements
• Conduct Field Investigations And Site Visits
• Perform Construction Inspections
• Serve As Engineer Of Record
• Provide Technical Guidance And Mentorship To Junior Engineering Staff
• Coordinate With Architects, Electrical Engineers And Clients

• 8+ Years As A Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) REQUIRED

• NCEES Registration REQUIRED
• Bachelor's Degree In Engineering From An ABET-Accredited Institution REQUIRED

• High Proficiency In AutoCAD MEP REQUIRED
• High Proficiency In Trace 3D REQUIRED
• High Proficiency In Microsoft Office Suite REQUIRED

Preferred
