We are looking for a dependable and motivated HVAC Install Helper to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in the HVAC industry and gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced installers.
The HVAC Install Helper will assist with the installation of heating and air conditioning systems, tools, equipment, and materials while learning the skills needed to advance within the HVAC trade.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist HVAC Installers with residential heating and air conditioning installations
- Help load, unload, and organize equipment, tools, and materials
- Assist with removing old HVAC equipment and preparing work areas for installation
- Carry and position equipment and materials as directed
- Maintain a clean and safe work area throughout the installation process
- Follow instructions from Lead Installers and HVAC Technicians
- Learn proper installation techniques, tools, and safety procedures
- Assist with basic installation tasks as trained
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Provide professional and courteous service while working in customers' homes
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous HVAC experience is helpful but not required
- Mechanical, construction, or trade experience is a plus
- Willingness to learn and develop HVAC skills
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable working with hand and power tools
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, outdoors, and other varying conditions
- Ability to lift and move HVAC equipment and materials
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
