Are you excited by the challenge of turning animal liberation campaigns into attention-grabbing, real-world moments that spark conversation and go viral?

We're looking for a creative, resourceful, and driven professional to lead the development and execution of experiential projects that push animal liberation issues into the public spotlight.

Position Objective:

To conceptualize and execute bold, unconventional experiential marketing projects—including pop-ups, public stunts, immersive installations, attention-grabbing sculptures, and live activations—that generate media coverage, engage the public, and amplify PETA’s campaigns across digital platforms

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conceptualize and execute innovative experiential marketing projects that capture public attention, provoke thought, and drive media and social engagement

• Translate big, bold ideas into real-world activations—thinking through how people will interact with, feel, and respond to each experience

• Lead all aspects of project execution, including planning, budgeting, timelines, permitting, fabrication, logistics, and on-site production

• Identify and manage external vendors, fabricators, venues, and partners to bring projects to life

• Collaborate closely with Communications, Media Relations, Campaigns, and Marketing teams to maximize reach, press coverage, and impact

• Work alongside creative and strategy teams to develop concepts that are culturally relevant, provocative, and aligned with PETA’s mission

• Ensure all experiential projects are designed with content capture in mind, helping generate compelling social media and video assets

• Problem-solve creatively and operationally, navigating ambiguity and overcoming challenges to deliver impactful results

• Stay up to date on cultural trends, experiential formats, and innovative marketing approaches

• Drive projects from ideation through execution, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and goals are met

• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

• Minimum of five years of experience in experiential marketing, creative production, live events, or related fields

• Proven ability to execute creative, non-traditional marketing or experiential projects

• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple complex initiatives simultaneously

• Experience working with vendors, fabricators, and external partners

• Demonstrated ability to think creatively while also executing with precision and attention to detail

• Strong understanding of social media and how real-world moments translate into viral content

• Comfort working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with evolving priorities

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism at all times

• Adherence to a healthy vegan lifestyle

• Commitment to the objectives of the organization
