Summary

The People Systems Specialist is the first point of contact for e2L team members' everyday people operations and technology needs. This role owns new-hire onboarding logistics, handles password resets and Tier 1 tech support across e2L's core tech stack, and supports recruiting by posting open positions and conducting phone screens. The ideal team member is tech-savvy, highly organized, and brings a warm, service-oriented approach to every interaction. This role reports directly to the Chief People & Performance Officer.

Responsibilities

Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Coordinate new team member onboarding, including account setup, equipment access, welcome communications, and orientation logistics
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in Paylocity and People Operations trackers
  • Support offboarding logistics, including account deactivation and equipment return

Technology & Help Desk Support

  • Serve as the first point of contact for team member questions related to everyday technology and people needs
  • Process password resets and basic account access requests across e2L's tech stack (Google Workspace, Paylocity, Asana, Salesforce, GroweLab, and related tools)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 1 technology issues, escalating more complex issues to the Director IT/AI Strategy, as needed
  • Create and maintain simple how-to documentation and FAQs for common tech and people operations questions

Recruiting Support

  • Post open positions to job boards, careers pages, and internal channels
  • Conduct phone screens for open roles and coordinate next-step interview scheduling with hiring managers

People Operations Administration

  • Serve as the first point of contact for team member questions related to People Operations
  • Provide general administrative support to the People & Performance team

Requirements

The successful applicant will demonstrate the following competencies:

  • 1+ years of experience in HR/people operations, customer service, or technical help desk support
  • High level of proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
  • Comfort learning, navigating, and troubleshooting multiple software platforms
  • Warm, friendly, and professional communication style, often as the first face of e2L for new team members
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple requests within timelines
  • High attention to detail and sound judgment handling confidential information
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and know when to escalate an issue
  • Experience with an HRIS (Paylocity preferred) or applicant tracking system is a plus
  • Prior experience with recruiting coordination or phone screening is a plus

Opportunity Details

  • This is a full-time position reporting to the Chief People & Performance Officer.
  • This is a remote position.
  • Standard work hours are Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m., with additional hours as necessary.

Salary Description
55,000-60,000
