Schedule: Night Shift / Day Shift / Weekends shift - Available. 


POSITION SUMMARY 

Are you a student interested in starting a career in the aviation industry? CTS Engines is seeking motivated students who are eager to gain hands-on experience within an aviation Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) environment. Our Part-Time Student Aviation Career Opportunities are designed to introduce students to aviation operations while allowing them to continue their education.


Students will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced aviation professionals, learn about MRO operations, develop practical workplace skills, and gain exposure to different areas of the aircraft engine maintenance process.


No previous aviation experience is required for these entry-level opportunities. We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, attention to detail, and an interest in building a future career in aviation.


Available Opportunities:


Parts Cleaner

Supports engine maintenance operations by cleaning aircraft engine parts and components from our different Engine programs in accordance with established procedures, safety requirements, and work instructions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and prepare aircraft engine parts and components using approved processes.
  • Follow established work instructions, safety procedures, and quality requirements.
  • Properly handle, identify, and organize components throughout the cleaning process.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Report damaged, questionable, or nonconforming parts to the appropriate team member.
  • Support shop activities and other operational needs as assigned.

Shipping Clerk

Supports the accurate preparation and movement of aviation materials, components, and shipments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare parts, materials, and packages for shipment.
  • Verify shipping documentation and information for accuracy.
  • Assist with labeling, packaging, and organizing outgoing shipments.
  • Support receiving and documentation activities as needed.
  • Maintain organized shipping areas and records.
  • Follow company procedures for handling aviation materials and components.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse, Logistics, Quality, and other departments as required.

Warehouse Clerk

Supports inventory management and the movement, storage, and organization of aviation parts and materials.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, organize, store, and retrieve materials and components.
  • Assist with inventory counts and material verification.
  • Maintain accurate identification and proper storage of parts.
  • Support material movement between operational areas.
  • Maintain clean and organized warehouse locations.
  • Follow applicable procedures for material handling and documentation.
  • Assist the Warehouse and Materials teams with daily operational requirements.

Logistics Coordinator – Student/Entry Level

Provides administrative and operational support to the logistics team to help ensure materials and components move efficiently throughout the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with tracking incoming and outgoing materials and components.
  • Support coordination between Shipping, Receiving, Warehouse, Operations, and other departments.
  • Update tracking information and basic logistics records.
  • Assist with documentation and data entry.
  • Help identify and communicate material status or potential delays.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records.
  • Support additional logistics activities and projects as assigned.


Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in high school, technical/vocational school, community college, college, or university, as applicable to the position and work requirements.
  • Interest in aviation, aerospace, manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, mechanics, engineering, or a related career field.
  • No previous aviation experience required.
  • Strong willingness to learn and receive feedback.
  • Dependable, punctual, and responsible.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Basic communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environment.
  • Basic computer skills for positions requiring data entry or documentation.
  • Must meet all applicable company, safety, regulatory, and pre-employment requirements for the assigned position

These positions are designed to provide part-time employment opportunities that can complement students' academic schedules. Candidates should have flexibility to work scheduled part-time hours based on operational and departmental needs. Specific schedules will be discussed during the recruitment process.
