Key Contributions (This includes but is not limited to the following):
• Identify strategic partners and deliver improved cost reductions for the organization through supplier management, negotiations, strategic sourcing, commodity management, and total cost principles.
• Manage the purchasing suggestions for RFP and PO creation, late deliveries, requisitions, and reporting for purchasing team.
• Ensure the organization’s SOPs, direction, and goals are communicated and executed within the purchasing team.
• Manage workload, expedites, priorities, and commodities within the purchasing team.
• Minimize purchasing price variance coverage and defective material issues.
• Work with Quality for vendor rework, scrap, and accurate certificates of compliance.
• Determine bulk buys where there are cost savings and added support to manufacturing production.
• Collaborate across multiple departments, including production, procurement, quality, and engineering to expedite materials required to support customer demand.

· At least a high school diploma or GED is required.
· A minimum of 5 years of purchasing experience is required.
· Demonstrable and strong negotiating skills are required.
· Proven experience in Procurement, Sourcing, or Supply Chain directly related to raw materials used in the fabrication of industrial equipment is required.
· Experience with demand-driven operating models and ERP systems is required.
· The ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality is required.
· The ability to remain organized with a keen attention to detail in a fast-paced environment is required.
· The ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines utilizing excellent time management skills is required.
· Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills are required.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, and PowerPoint is required.
· Previous experience in an ISO 9001 environment is preferred.
