Senior Manager Operations and Strategy
Description

The Senior Manager of Operations and Strategy is an advanced-practice nurse and clinically trained

leader responsible for the end-to-end development, execution, and evaluation of strategic initiatives and

pilot programs across the organization. Reporting to the Assoc Director of Operation & Strategic

Initiatives, this role translates strategic priorities into actionable pilots, operational improvements, and

scalable solutions. This position serves as a bridge between clinical excellence and operational

infrastructure, requiring deep understanding of cross-functional workflows, as well as the judgment to

build and mentor the team supporting these programs. Additionally, this role will own patient experience

reporting, incident report oversight, benchmark metrics and assist in operational workflow reviews

across teams. This position will assist in the current Memoryworkx initiative by serving as a clinical

liaison between teams, as well as support operational needs for Sage Elevate. Eventually, this position

will serve as Clinic Director for sites when needed, maintaining accurate records as required by AHCA.

This role will involve occasional travel to our sites across Florida, as well as regular visits to our

corporate office in St Pete.

Requirements

Strategic Initiatives & Pilot Programs

• In coordination with the AD of Operations and Strategic Initiatives, own the design, implementation,

and evaluation of strategic initiatives and pilot programs aligned with organizational goals, from

concept through design, pilot implementation, evaluation, and scaling across all locations.

• Partner with the Assoc Director of Operations & Strategic Initiatives and department directors to

identify opportunities for innovation, operational improvement, and program expansion.

• Develop pilot frameworks, timelines, success metrics, and evaluation plans to assess effectiveness

and scalability; make data-driven recommendations for expansion or modification.

• Develop innovative strategies aligned with the company's purpose, anticipate workflow challenges,

and provide thoughtful, clinically grounded solutions.

• Stay current on industry trends, emerging therapies, and best practices.

Clinical & Operational Support

• Ensure pilots and initiatives align with clinical best practices, patient safety standards, and

regulatory requirements.

• Identify operational risks, gaps, and dependencies, and recommend mitigation strategies.

• Support day-to-day clinical and operational needs related to assigned initiatives or pilot programs,

including Memoryworkx.

• Support the Sage Elevate team with operational decision making.

• Own monthly organizational metrics, ensuring data accuracy, timely updates, and clear

communication of results and trends to leadership and department leaders

• Update Sage benchmarks graphic on internal website as well as Metrics by Location spreadsheet.


• Own oversight of Incident Reports, ensuring accuracy of reporting and notification of relevant

Directors.

Cross-Functional & Organizational Leadership

• Serve as a liaison across teams and as an operational thought partner, bringing integrated insights

to inform strategic planning.

• Coordinate with directors across departments (Clinical, Intake, Business Development, etc.) to

ensure new initiatives and programs align with departmental priorities, capabilities, and best

practices, routing any initiative involving their teams through the respective director for alignment,

resource assessment, and approval before execution.

• Facilitate regular operational reviews with directors and department leaders to identify workflow

gaps and enhance cross-team coordination.

• Provide direct leadership, mentorship, and performance management to team members supporting

pilots and strategic programs, including goal-setting and professional development.

• Provide guidance and support to project teams, clinicians, and operational partners involved in

initiatives and pilots; perform site visits across regions at a frequency to be determined.

• Eventually serve as Clinic Director for sites when needed, maintaining accurate records as required

by AHCA.

Data, Evaluation & Reporting

• Define and track key KPIs and success measures for initiatives and pilots.

• Analyze quantitative data and qualitative feedback to assess outcomes, identify lessons learned,

and define next steps across teams.

• Prepare summaries, reports, and presentations for leadership to support decision-making and

prioritization.

Required Qualifications

• Valid, unencumbered Florida APRN license as a Nurse Practitioner; BLS certification; valid driver's

license. Preferred; Autonomous Nurse Practitioner license or the ability to obtain one within 6

months.

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with Nurse Practitioner certification required.

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in clinical operations, healthcare management, or

strategic/project-based roles, including experience in a clinical leadership or advanced-practice

capacity.

• Demonstrated experience leading or supporting pilots, strategic initiatives, or process improvement

efforts in a healthcare setting, ideally including multi-site ambulatory, infusion, or specialty care

operations.

• Proven track record developing, piloting, and scaling programs from concept to full implementation.

• Strong understanding of quality, safety, and regulatory standards, and of clinical workflows.

• Experience providing leadership, mentorship, and development to direct reports or operational team

members.

• Onboarding will include travel to different regions as well as shadowing with different team members

to learn the key elements of related roles within Sage Infusion and Sage Elevate. IT assessment for

external candidates is required.

Salary Description
$120k-$130k
