Pay: $25.00-$30.00 an hour

Summary
The Rental Shop Assistant Manager is passionate about excellent customer service and is driven to provide the best experience possible for guests and fellow employees through set up, check out and return of rental ski and snowboard equipment while also being an example leader in his/her department. In addition to assisting employees with day-to-day operations of the Rental Shop, they will also be responsible for handling staffing concerns/issues, training of new staff, and assisting the Rental Shop Manager in any and everything he is also responsible for which includes but is not limited to managing financials, inventory, and supervisor/lead teams. Every employee is responsible for providing a positive experience for our guests and employees, with safety and fun as our top priorities.
Essential Functions
- Assisting the Rental Shop Manager in day-to-day duties. This includes managing staff concerns/issues, training new staff, assisting with managing financials, inventory, and supervisor/lead teams. In addition to assisting with managing the shop, it is also expected that the assistant manager will assist the staff when needed.
- Operates a computer with tech bench software. Follow Company standards regarding rental contract agreements.
- Assists/Delegates with equipment return and inspection.
- Assists/Delegates with organization and repair of rental shop equipment.
- Delegates/Assists with daily cleaning of rental shops, workstations and exterior areas as needed.
- Delegates/Assists with end-of-day rental agreement paperwork.
- High School Diploma
- Previous customer service in the Skiing Industry Required (Rental experience preferred)
- Ski shop management/supervisory experience required (2+ Years)
- Ski binding certification (will be provided)
- Ability to communicate clearly and calmly, respectful, and considerate to others.
- Basic computer skills, preferred.
- Written and oral communication in English required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
