ABOUT BOLTON’S COMMUNICATIONS TEAM

Bolton’s Communications practice supports organizations in improving employee engagement and well-being by developing effective communication strategies that increase awareness and utilization of benefits and programs.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Ready to jump in and start making things happen in the marketing world? Bolton is looking for a curious, creative, and driven Marketing Intern to join our team and help bring our brand to life across every channel we touch. This isn’t a “shadow and observe” internship — you’ll be a genuine contributor from day one, working on projects that actually go out into the world. You’ll get exposure to the full marketing mix: social media, website content, campaigns, client proposals, and events. If you like variety, moving fast, and seeing your work make an impact, this is the internship for you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Social Media: Help plan, create, and post content that gets people talking — from behind-the-scenes moments to campaign launches
  • Website Content: Write, edit, and refresh copy and pages to keep our site sharp and on-brand
  • Campaigns: Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns from concept to launch
  • Proposals: Assist in building compelling, well-designed proposals that help win new business
  • Events: Help plan and support marketing presence at events, from prep to on-the-ground execution
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm fresh ideas and bring creative concepts to life
  • Use AI tools to speed up research, content creation, and idea generation across projects
