Description
THE JOB:
The Universal Certified HVAC Technician at Jekyll Island Club Resort is an important member of our Engineering team, responsible for maintaining the comfort, safety, and overall functionality of our historic resort and hotel facilities.
This role is primarily responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of HVAC and refrigeration systems throughout the resort, helping ensure our guest rooms, restaurants, event spaces, public areas, offices, and back-of-house facilities remain comfortable and operating properly.
As our HVAC Technician, you will diagnose and repair heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration equipment; perform preventative maintenance; respond to HVAC-related work orders; identify equipment or system concerns; and complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards for safety and workmanship.
Working alongside the Engineering leadership team, you will assist with the day-to-day maintenance operation of a full-service resort, including maintaining HVAC equipment, documenting repairs and preventative maintenance, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical components related to HVAC systems, and helping identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
Because this position operates within an active luxury resort, guest service is an important part of the role. The HVAC Technician may perform work in occupied guest rooms and public areas and is expected to communicate professionally, maintain a clean work environment, minimize disruption to guests, and provide the level of service expected at Jekyll Island Club Resort.
This is a hands-on technical position for an experienced HVAC professional who enjoys troubleshooting, solving problems, working independently, and being part of a collaborative Engineering team. If you are dependable, knowledgeable, service-oriented, and take pride in keeping complex facilities operating at their best, we would love to have you join the Engineering team at Jekyll Island Club Resort.
The BENEFITS:
In return, you are rewarded with a competitive compensation package, including:
- Competitive pay including tips and incentives
