JOB SUMMARY 

The Field works with our customers and installers to ensure projects are completed on time and meet our expected level of quality.  This is key position in our organization and vital to our overall performance as a contractor to the builder industry.  As such, the Field must be an “installer-friendly” individual and help maintain our “installer-centric” culture which is critical to our business and success.   


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Promote a safe, injury/accident-free culture.
  • Provide updated status checks on the stages of home construction.
  • Manage relationships with key customer contacts.
  • Initiate corrective action to emergent issues.
  • Ensure installation quality is acceptable.
  • Primary point of contact on customer installation issues as well as accidents and mishaps on-site.
  • Work closely with GM, Director of Operations, Management team and other managers/supervisors to identify best practices in all functional areas.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws.  Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Undergraduate degree in Business or relevant field.  Experience in a relative position will also be considered in lieu of college degree.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
  • Functionality in Operations, Customer Service and Sub-Contractor Management.
  • Knowledge of flooring installation systems pertaining to single family home construction.
  • Highly collaborative and works well with others.
