The Radio Frequency Engineer III supports the NSWC Crane Model-Based Engineering Assessment Division (Code MXM) on the MXM EMSO effort, executing assigned Technical Instructions under Government technical direction in support of the RDT&E, mission engineering, modeling and simulation, and Fleet-support tasking defined in the SOW/PWS. The position requires 10 years of professional experience with radio frequency engineering. The Radio Frequency Engineer III performs assigned work in accordance with Team quality, configuration-management, and security requirements.

Additional Desired Experience

· 10+ years experience with radio frequency engineering.

· TS/SCI eligibility preferred.

· Knowledge of RF devices and/or systems.

· Knowledge of electronic test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, Oscilloscopes, Amplifiers, and other Radio Frequency components.

· Knowledge of RF Communications systems engineering and/or integration.

Requirements

· Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as engineering or mathematics (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems)

· 10 years of professional experience with radio frequency engineering.

· Active DoD SECRET security clearance (or interim) required and must be maintained.

· Required work location: NSWCCR / Contractor Facility.
