Role Overview:

The detail-oriented, driven, organized, and resourceful Buyer performs a variety of activities to support the day-to-day Procurement and Supply Chain activities. The successful candidate will be a team player, have experience issuing PO’s and have basic knowledge in procurement and supply chain. He or she will be directly responsible for the timely placement of purchase orders, confirm delivery of materials, and will be supporting the Enchanted Rock teams with RFQ processes, source rental of equipment, purchase orders or/and any needed services. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process purchase requisitions to purchase orders.
  • Maintain PO data in ERP System
  • Maintain high degree of communication cooperation and coordination with assigned departments regarding purchase orders.
  • Work closely with accounting team to resolve and avoid discrepancies.
  • Report any supplier and customer issues.
  • Work closely with Procurement Manager to ensure that all purchase requisitions are processed in a timely fashion. 
  • Communicate with vendors to resolve issues in a timely manner and escalate issues when necessary. 
  • Ensure proper documentation is received to confirm delivery. 
  • Additional responsibilities may be added at the direction of Company’s management.
Requirements

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Well versed in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) 
  • Keen attention to detail to ensure purchase order accuracy
  • Physical requirements and working conditions: Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry up to 10 pounds; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with Inventory, Supply chain or Procurement.
  • Self-motivated-problem solver.
  • Past purchasing experience is preferred 
  • Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing work environment
