** The ANS QA Analyst safeguards grant compliance, strengthens program quality, and elevates customer experience across ANS programs. This position is responsible for conducting strategic reviews, developing and delivering training on data systems and documentation standards, overseeing the financial management of grant funds, and coordinating service quality monitoring activities. Success requires expert knowledge of funder requirements and evidence-based practices (e.g., Trauma-Informed Care,
Critical Time Intervention, Motivational Interviewing) to support staff training and continuous improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and conduct strategic reviews (strat reviews) to verify adherence to grant requirements across ANS programs; document findings and track follow-up actions.
- Evaluate program processes, documentation, and data quality; identify errors, non-compliance, or emerging risks early and coordinate timely remediation before audits or external reviews.
- Monitor outcomes and compliance indicators; promptly notify the Principal Analyst and appropriate program leadership of non-compliance or at-risk areas and initiate improvement planning when needed.
- Conduct regular monitoring visits of VOAC and community partner or subrecipient sites to assess compliance and alignment with best-practice standards; escalate systemic issues with clear, actionable recommendations.
- Conduct formal site checks at least twice each year, or more frequently when risk indicates, and communicate findings to the Principal Analyst and program leadership.
- Update forms, procedures, checklists, and guidance promptly when funder requirements, regulations, workflows, or program information change.
- Confirm assignments outside the position’s regular responsibilities with the Principal Analyst before execution.
- Build and refine forms, dashboards, reports, and other data systems in collaboration with program staff and stakeholders to improve data accuracy, reliability, usability, and compliance.
- Implement documentation and measurement processes for new or evolving programs and verify that collected data meets established quality and reporting standards.
- Train program staff on strategic review procedures, data collection protocols, system use, documentation standards, and corrective-action expectations; provide onboarding and refresher training as needed.
- Communicate approved data sources, definitions, reporting timelines, and usage guidance to programs for evaluation, program review, and funder reporting.
- Participate in Program Evaluation and Program Review committees and provide quality-assurance findings, trend analysis, and recommendations.
- Monitor grant spending and supporting documentation to promote timely, allowable, and accurate use of funds and to minimize reliance on account 4600 in accordance with finance policies.
- Communicate warning signs involving spending, allocation, documentation, or compliance to the Program Manager and Principal Analyst and incorporate identified risks into strategic review activities.
- Partner with Accounting to identify program-specific training needs and incorporate relevant financial topics into QA check-ins and staff guidance.
- Discuss financial review areas regularly with directors and senior directors and integrate priority items into strategic review agendas.
- Provide program leadership with standardized templates, checklists, and periodic financial-health snapshots that improve transparency and follow-up.
- Support kitchen and nutrition-service processes by reviewing and improving workflows, forms, checklists, and documentation used for meal production, meal counts, delivery, sanitation, food safety, and inventory control.
- Conduct scheduled kitchen observations and process reviews in coordination with kitchen and program leadership to assess adherence to approved procedures, funder requirements, food-safety practices, and quality standards.
- Review available production records, temperature logs, sanitation records, inventory records, meal-count documentation, delivery records, and other required supporting documentation for completeness, accuracy, consistency, and audit readiness.
- Partner with kitchen leadership and staff to identify operational risks, workflow gaps, documentation issues, and training needs and to develop practical corrective actions and process improvements.
- Support implementation and monitoring of corrective-action plans resulting from internal reviews, kitchen inspections, funder monitoring, customer feedback, or external audits.
- Analyze available trends in food waste, inventory use, meal production, service delivery, and customer feedback and share actionable findings with program leadership.
- Maintain working knowledge of kitchen operations, food-service documentation, inventory management, meal-production processes, supply-chain practices, and nutrition-program compliance requirements.
- Provide QA support to Congregate Dining, Meals on Wheels, and other ANS nutrition services while respecting operational roles and established lines of authority.
- Monitor customer satisfaction through approved internal systems, surveys, complaints, compliments, and other feedback channels.
- Maintain, analyze, and visualize DRCOG annual survey data; identify trends and communicate findings to program and organizational leadership.
- Develop and implement a consistent QA check-in process; review results to identify strengths, risks, training needs, and improvement opportunities.
- Co-design and refine customer-service monitoring approaches for programs that do not participate in a recurring DRCOG survey.
- Track and report satisfaction and service-quality trends to inform training, process improvements, resource decisions, and strategic priorities.
- Complete requested reports and projects accurately and within established timelines.

Salary: $57,784 for candidates with experience

· Travel throughout the program’s service area may be required.
· Must be able to work in diverse and, at times, uncomfortable environments such as homeless shelters, service facilities, streets, offices, and all other locations necessary to fulfill program objectives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION
- Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, education, human services, social work, or a closely related field or equivalent relevant experience.
- Two years’ experience in human service-related field, including knowledge of relevant service systems.
- Demonstrable expertise in data analysis using Microsoft Excel, Serve Tracker, SUDS and other funder reporting software.
- Must complete agency and program credentialing within 12 weeks of hire and maintain credentialing standards thereafter.
- Must possess a Colorado driver’s license, satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and state-mandated automobile insurance.
Preferred Qualifications of Position
- Four years’ experience in human service-related field.
- Two years of training experience. Experience working within related human service programs preferred.
- Knowledge of Medicaid billing and implementation.
